Allia isn't one to brag, so I will
SK Arts asked 75 established artists to nominate one strong, emerging artist, program or training opportunity that makes the future of Saskatchewan arts exciting.
Allia and I have known each other for 25 years, though have only been together as a couple for 13. In that time I have seen her take on many roles in her professional life. She has been a talent agent, executive assistant, events manager and retail operations manager, and for the last 6 years with me as a producer/director. Throughout that time and long list of experiences, she has always been an artist.
Do you need a new blanket for watching TV? Allia will knit you one. A painting for your dining room? Allia will mix her love of the abstract with her Indian culture on a canvas. And more recently, do you need to find your story? Allia helps find all those amazing things that make you unique in your role to tell a story about you and your business on screen.
If you have some time, please take a look at Allia’s nomination from Randy Goulden at: https://sk-arts.ca/news-resources/sk-arts-75th-anniversary/randy-goulden-and-allia-janzen.html?fbclid=IwAR2VRdrFGzFMLopCy0xUq_jqcI_uRUGHvmbhbyMpv6ixzHMgABY5P4t8zyY
Randy, thank you for supporting Allia’s dream of being a professional artist.
